"Hi, this is Doug on behalf of expertvillage.com. We're going over sleight of hand and performing what we like to call the French Drop. Now we've gone over what it was like to do it with a coin. We're actually going to try it as well with an orange. Starting with the first two and important steps to the trick, of course with the hand positioning. You can do it with a small fruit, a small ball, any small object. Paper clip, some lint if you've got an imagination there. You want to hold it in the tips of your fingers. Again, you'll have a U, a nice landing pad, and the C. Now you want to take the C in, again and cover the object entirely before you do the steal and drop. Now this has to happen relatively quickly because the object is a lot larger. And you'll bring of course, the hands apart, just as you did with the coin. One going down to the side, one coming up here. Again, what that looks like very simply is bringing the hands together with the object, steal and apart. Okay, again with a small object you want to do it relatively fast. So in full speed, it looks like this. Ready to go."
