"Hi, this is Doug on behalf of expertvillage.com. A continuation of an introduction to sleight of hand. Now we can use any kind of object. Today we're going to use a coin. Performing what we like to call the French Drop. Or the French Drop, depending on where you're coming from naturally. So the French Drop will look like this, with the patter and all. Ladies and gentlemen, we start with a coin. What I want you to do is I want you to look at the date on the coin. Very simply, I want you to take the coin and look at the date. Now that I actually put in my pocket when you weren't looking. That, ladies and gentlemen is what we call the French Drop. And that is what you'll be learning today, is how to manipulate a coin in what we call the French Drop. And this is very useful again with just coins, it's useful with small fruit and different objects you can find around the house. Not only a coin. I'm going to use a larger coin just so you can see at home how to manipulate this. This works with a quarter, a penny, the larger a coin is the better. But preferably something that you can find again, around the house that people will recognize. They don't think there's anything funny going on there."
