Summary: Learn how to do circular juggling in this free juggling video.
"Alright, so what we've learned so far is the cascade pattern of juggling, the reverse cascade, or outside juggling. What we're going to learn now is probably one of the hardest patterns of juggling, and that is circular juggling. This is the kind of juggling you usually see in cartoons, and the pattern's really simple. What you're doing is pretty much throwing the ball in a circle, just like that. And you can go whichever way you feel comfortable. I'm left handed, so I naturally want to use my left hand as the guide hand. So when you're starting to learn, like I said before, you always want to start with one ball and get the pattern down. So what we're going to do is we're going to start in our left hand, throw the ball to our right, pass it between. Throw the ball to our right, pass it between. Throw our ball to the right, pass it between. Now when you're ready, you can move to two, which I'm going to do right now. So this is circular juggling with two balls. That's basically it, still pretty easy, a little bit harder than one, and I'm still doing the same pattern where I toss one over, while that ball's going in the arc over, that's when I pass the ball in my right hand to my left. Here it is again. And that's basically the two ball circular juggling pattern. So once you've mastered two balls in the circular pattern of juggling, you're going to want to move into three. You know you've mastered the two balls when you find that gap where you can add a third. So once you've decided you're going to add a third, things are going to get tricky! Now, a good tip for when you add the third ball is to remember, throw up high, remember the higher you throw up the ball, the more time you'll have to work with the other ones. So, this is what three ball circular juggling looks like. And that's basically it! Now these three patterns, they take a lot of practice, and that's the key. Once you know the patterns, you know the patterns, but then it's up to you to practice them, perfect them, and once you feel that you're confident and you start to get a little bored with it, that's when we'll start learning tricks, which is what we're going to do next."
