"So to start off, let's talk about what kind of things you want to start juggling with. You can start juggling with anything that you can throw in the air. You can start off with baseballs, tennis balls, racquetballs, any kind of balls you can find you can juggle. Probably the best thing to start out when you're learning to juggle is a Hacky Sack or a bean bag. The best reason for that, is if you drop it, it doesn't go anywhere. It doesn't bounce all over your house. It doesn't break your TV, your china, whatever, you don't have to run down the street, some dog won't come and steal it from you. It stays right where you drop it so you can just bend over and pick it up. So once you've decided what you want to juggle with, whether it be a baseball, Hacky Sack or some produce from the grocery store, now you want to find a place to learn to juggle. One of the best places to learn to juggle is right over a bed or maybe even over a table like this and the reason being, you're going to drop. You're going to drop everything you toss up when you start juggling these things, and when you drop it you don't want to have to keep bending over to pick it up. Also you don't want to, if you're juggling something that's going to bounce, like maybe a tennis ball, if it's on something soft, like a bed it's not going to bounce and roll away. So somewhere, even against a wall, because a lot of time when you start throwing more than one object in the air they start leaving your hands and going forward, so somewhere against the wall, a bed, those are probably the best places where you can start to learn to juggle."
