"Now we're going to talk about slip stitching, which is the easiest thing I swear. I said that something else was easier than anything knitting. So if it says to slip a stitch, what you're going to do is you're going to knit. Then guess what, it says knit 1, slip stitch. Guess what. Just slide it onto the other side and you've slipped the stitch. Now, this yarn is going to be here and it's going to make some sort of a pattern so don't worry about it. Now let's knit. Yarn in, yarn around, pull through. We can slip another stitch, so let's just slip a stitch. Pretty easy. It's just sliding a stitch over. Let's slip 2 just for fun. Let's get wild. Put the needle in. We're doing a regular knit now, twirl it around, pull it through, put your needle in, twirl it around, pull it through. Let's do a slip stitch here. I forgot I wanted to show you one more slip stitch. Slip stitch; grab it, slide it. You're done. The last one, most patterns will have you knit or finish the pattern out. So we're done. We slipped stitched. Now, another thing you can do is change color yarn. The best place to change a yarn color is at the very end. Since we're at the very end now, I'm going to change. I'm going to cut it. Big deal. So I cut that. What color you want to go to? White? I think white will look good against here. Let's use this. This will be pretty. The black and the gold and white with the red. What I'm going to do is I'm going to just tie a little knot, a twirl around knot. What are these things called? These twirl around knots. Take the 2 pieces together, twirl them through, and then pull it through. Guess what, you just changed it. Then at the end what you're going to do is just tie a knot at the end. At the end you'll weave it in together. Now, we've changed colors. We're on the black gold and the white yarn, so we're done with our red and we're ready to go. I'm going to start knitting with that next."
