"Stitch number two; same old thing. We're just knitting. Insert it into the front, through to the back, take your yarn, wrap it over, and bring it back through. So two stitches done. You're already knitting. Pretty fun. Take the needle and put it back in through the yarn. Wrap the yarn around from the right hand on the right needle, pull it back around, and slide it off. The good thing about needles is they're all slippery. That's good and bad. They're slippery so that you can get the yarn off. The bad part about them being slippery is that sometimes stitches drop off. I'll show you how to rescue that if it happens. Now we're on stitch 4. Push the needle through, yarn around, and pull it back through. Here's stitch 5. Put it through the front of the yarn to the back making our little X. Take the yarn, wrap it over the right handed needle, pull it back through, and push the old stitch off. Into the old stitch, around with the new yarn, back through, and off with the old. We only have about 4 more to go. Into the stitch. Oops, see what I did? That's going to happen because I talked about the needles being slippery. I just accidentally shoved that piece over. See this last stitch? I didn't knit that, I just slid it. I'm going to take my needle and pick it back up and we're good to go. Don't every worry. It's not brain surgery. Take your needle and slide it in the stitch and bring the yarn around and pull it through, slide the needle in, pull the yarn around and back out, and slide it in, twirl the yarn around, back it out. Here's our last stitch. Slide it in, twirl it around, and back it out, and we're done. You just knit 10 beautiful stitches. Great."

on 8/2/2008 Never seen ANYBODY wrap yarn around the needle counter-clockwise. This would be very confusing to a beginner.
