"On behalf of expert village my name is Bob Lanning. I'm here to tell you about making a train diagram in h.o. scale. The second mining area was United Vert Extension which was founded by "Rawhide" Jimmy Douglas about 1912 to 15 and you can see the head frame there in the background. There was actually two. One was called Edith and Audrey, and they. The ore was dropped onto her shaft down to the Josephine tunnel which was two and a half miles long and the ore was taken to the town of Cunmensaw. About the 1920's he built himself a mansion up there and it was a very modern mansion where they had a built in vacuum system and it's a beautiful building. And luckily it's been preserved and is now a museum and is run by the Arizona State Parks. If you can visit that building, it looks just like it used to. It's a beautiful building. It has some mining diagrams inside and a very good film you can see in there. But that was "Rawhide" Jimmy Douglas's mansion at the time."
