"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Bob Lanning. I'm here to tell you about making a train diorama in HO scale. Back there in the control area you can see we have a little, I guess you could call cue cards, for people that are too versed in all the history like some of us. They come in, on weekends, you can read these cards up, gives all the pertinent dates when everything started, when the different railroads, when the mining started and all the names of the different railroads. And along the edge of the layout, all around, you'll see photographs of what you're looking at with a little cue card underneath telling what you're looking at. That's mostly for the visitors. The ones back here are for the operators. And, we get quite a few people in from different countries, from out of state and they don't know anything about this area and of course we get visitors that are local, they just, it's fun when they really recognize a building that we've done. They say "I've been there, I know what that is", and that really makes it worthwhile."
