Kids can get very restless on those long vacation road trips, especially if you don’t have an in-van dvd player to keep them occupied. But how to pass the time if your car is not equipped with the latest in travel entertainment technology? Why the old fashioned way of course! With car games that utilize their imaginations and powers of observation, not to stare at the small screen but to expand their horizons as they travel across the country. And if you parents are not careful, you might have fun as well. But be sure not to get too distracted when competing with your kids because you definitely want to keep on the road.
In this series of travel advice videos, our professional English teacher and mother of two will share several fun games that you can play with your children on your next road trip. You may remember many of them from the road trips of your youth, such as the number and letter games based on the license plates of other cars on the road. Our expert also includes fun memory, spelling and math games to sharpen these skills for school. And for those of you who are musically inclined, our series includes games based on song lyrics and even a traveling version of the ever-popular karaoke.
