Video Transcript

"Welcome back Expert Village. We're going to take a look today at history making the news. Because old newspapers are wonderfully collectible and they're still out there. They're not expensive and they're great pieces of memorabilia. And there's a lot of things to remember that we're going to talk about today. We're going to talk about. Of course, condition. We're going to talk about where these newspapers came from, how close they were to the events, the day that they were printed. We're going to talk about headlines, the headline placement, who happens to be on the cover. The event that happens to be on the cover. Then, we're going to talk about comic books and we're going to talk about comic books based on how old they are and their values. Now these start getting up there in value. So we're going to talk a little bit about specifically what you might want to look for if you want to start a comic book collection. Some of these comic books you just are not going to find at a garage sale. Unless you're incredibly lucky. I heard this story about a guy who was rehabbing a building. I heard this a little while ago. He took down all the dry wall, behind the dry wall, the insulation was movie posters, all from the twenties. Perfect condition, because they were stacked together. If you find some comic books like that, call me."
