If it says made in Japan or China it's not a real German Stein? I never would have figured that out.::facepalm::

Look at this, doesn’t this look old? This is a stein, and do you know I bought so many of these before I knew better. This is a stein and this is actually a cheesy reproduction of the old German steins that are worth quite a bit of money, but this stein, no don’t go there. This is a cheesy, made in Japan stein, they are everywhere, everywhere people think they are finding some great German relic, but this is a relic but it just ain’t great, this thing is a cheesy Chinese stein, or this thing is actually Japan. You also find them from China, if they say China or Japan, Japan is interesting and it may be a little bit vintage but these steins are worth maybe a couple of bucks. So if you pay a couple of bucks and you think you are going to sell it in your local antique mall or your favorite flea market, you may but let me tell you something, these babies will sell for about a buck if you are lucky. These suck, do not buy a cheesy German stein, it is a fake, it is not good for you.
