"First we would make the marinade dicon radish which would be the signature for most Vietnamese sandwiches. We would peel the dicon radish, cut of the tip and then we would slice the dicon in half. Then remember to hold your finger against your plate so that you would not cut your fingers. Then we would cut the dicon reddish thinly. The we would Julienne each dicon slice into really fine slits. We would repeat the same process for the carrots. If you have food processor you can use that for this process. Then we would add around 2 tablespoon of salt and mix it so that the water would release from the dicon and the carrots."
