"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Laura Banford. I'm going to tell you the tell of two quiches. Now we are going to talk about the crust for our quiche. You can make a crust from scratch it adds some time and some labor, a pastry crust for quiche would include flour, butter, cold water and a little salt. So there are not too many ingredients but you do have to work it and incorporate all the ingredients together and roll it out. I got a little short cut I have some refrigerated pie dough it comes rolled, sometimes it's frozen mine is refrigerated. Put a little bit of flour onto your cutting board so it doesn't stick and roll the dough out, put a little bit of flour on top and I want to roll this out a little bit with our rolling pin. Just make sure it's uniform in thickness and I'm going to take my pie plate, lift this up and lay it right down in. You want to press down the dough then you want to crimp it so it forms a little bit of a crust all the way around so the dough isn't hanging off. This was the perfect size and that is all you need to do when you are working with prepared pie dough. When we come back we are going to cook our bacon, see you then."
