"Hi! My name is Brandon Sarkis on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to take a few minutes to show you how to make blueberry muffins that taste better than the ones out of the box you get at the grocery store. It's been about a minute. You'll see what's happen here is you'll see that the sharp edges of the granules of the sugar have actually kind of milled the flour and roughed the flour up, which is pretty neat. It's a good way to kind of grate the flour up and incorporating the sugar and the flour together. Now while this is running, we're just going to dump our salt in. We'll give it a few seconds to get evenly mixed together. We're also going to get our baking powder here ready. Kind of tap this in in stages. The last thing you ever want to do is taste the baking powder because it's nasty. It tastes like aspirin. That is not a good combination to taste when you're eating anything, unless you're eating aspirin. Turn this off for a second. We'll lower the bowl down here. We'll do what we always do, which is to scrape down the sides. What happens is whatever is underneath all this may not be getting hit by the mixer whip. Go all the way to the bottom. Go all the way to the center. That should be pretty good. We'll bring it back up and let it go for about another 20 or 30 seconds. We'll come back and start adding some of our wet ingredients."
