"On behalf of Expert Village I'm Laura Banford. I'm going to show you how to make white bean escarole soup. Now I'm going to prepare the garlic bread to go in the oven. I already sliced a beautiful ciabattta bread look at those air holes, that's how you know it's a good quality bread. I have my cutting board here my beautiful asiago cheese and I'm going to shred it. Freshly grated cheese is better than is pre-shredded it's much more flavorful as much moisture. Pre-shredded cheese is good for some uses but it dries out so it's not going to have all its flavor. You don't need that much I have my butter that I already melted, a good quality butter. I'm adding some garlic and I'm going to mix that up and I'm going to take our bread, a pastry brush. I'm going to basically paint the bread with a garlic mixture like that. Then I'm going to take the freshly grated asiago cheese and sprinkle it on and we're going to pop that in the oven and we'll see it when we come back."
