"Hi, this is Rich Buccola here in NYC. Today here on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to show you how to make homemade chicken noodle soup. First thing you want to do is get a good rinsing underneath your celery, clean up your celery very nice. You need about 2 cups of celery I'm going to use the leafs and all that's how my grandma use to do it. She use to put it all and her chicken noodle that's why they said it was a cure for the common cold cause it would cure anything. So just cut your celery up nice get it cut up fine the same way we did our onion, garlic and the same way you can do the celery. Just give it a good cut across it doesn't have to be the desired consistency. What you do is put it all in the middle and start giving it a chop using the back of your knife. Definitely chop it up to the consistency but way way much more than 2 cups so if you want to at this point. If you say this is a cup I notice more than 2 cups so I'm just going to put in what I know and you can eyeball it or measure it. I made this enough times that I want to have celery on there I don't want it to be over bearing with celery. So that's about the right amount and here I'm just going to refrigerate the leftovers for potato salad or for beef stew. So there's your celery, carrots and let's start chopping up the mushrooms."
