"We got our onion (sorry) we got our tomato and our avocado in a bowl and now we got to do our onion. You see here I got a rather small yellow onion and yellow onion is typically sweeter than white onions so that is why I like to use them in my guacamole. However, if all you have is white or if you have red, red also works really well go ahead and use that. It's not a problem. This onion is pretty small so I'm going to use one whole onion however, if your onion is rather large then go ahead and use a half. Like wise if you don't like onions at all you don't even have to put this in there, I know a lot of people don't like the texture of onions. What you can do to avoid that if you still want the onion flavor in your guacamole is shred it on a box shredder. That gives you the flavor of the onions without actually having the texture or the bite of the onion. I'm going to try to get these a little bit smaller and the reason why I want smaller pieces is because I don't want to take a big bite of onion when I'm eating my guacamole. You want to taste a little bit of everything you just don't want to taste the onion, so make it a little bit of smaller dice going on with that. Perfect, I'm going ahead and add this to my bowl and actually by looking at that, that actually looks right to me. I think we're just going to stick with one half of the small onions, if you have a large onion go ahead and use a quarter of it, if you have a small onion go ahead and use half of it."
