"Hi, my name is Brandon Sarkis, on behalf of Expert Village. Today, I'm going to take a few minutes to show you how to make a really tasty New England Clam Chowder. So, it's all done so lets go ahead and get some into a bowl, so I can show you exactly how delicious the end results taste. Pardon me for a second while I pick this up. I don't want to make a giant mess, getting it all over the place here. Alright, so here we are, I'm back. You'll see that it looks absolutely fantastic. Normally, I would garnish this with, maybe some fresh dried pepper, although I put quite a bit in mine or maybe just a little bit of parsley or shrivel, perhaps. A sprinkle of dill also and I would typically serve it with oyster crackers and usually cornbread, surprisingly. You can look here, you can see that every bite is just full of clam, or potato or celery. As you can also see, if I get in close here, you can really see the texture of the soup. It's got a fine texture, yet at the same time, it's got some little small pieces of the clam with potato in there. This is an awesome recipe. I can't recommend it enough. A couple of variations you could do, like I said, you could make it all with milk and just thicken it with the roux. You could make it all with heavy cream, which is my favorite way to make it, although it's really really bad for you, it's also kind of expensive but it's totally worth it, that way is amazing. If you make it with the heavy cream, you can skip the roux completely. Other things you could do, if you want to make it vegetarian, you could leave the pork out but, in replace of the pork, you could use shrimp stock, works very well and just a little bit of olive oil too. Also, a little bit of olive oil drizzled on top of this, doesn't have fat either so, with that being said, I hope you enjoyed watching my New England Clam Chowder video. I know that I enjoyed making it and I know I'm going to really enjoy eating this. Thanks a lot and look for more videos at Expert Village. Have a good one. "
