"Hi, this is Ben Hardy with Expert Village. Now we are going to go ahead and talk about our cheddar cheese. It is always important to buy in bulk if you are going to be cooking a lot. If you are having a large party or if you are cooking on more on 1,2,3 occasions a week. It is very important to buy in bulk to save yourself a little bit of money. We are going to go ahead and take our knife and cut through our cheddar cheese. Wrapper and all. Get off a good section of that cheddar. Alright set the rest to the side for later use. Then we are going to get the plastic wrap off of the block like we just did. Discard that. Alright take a standard cheese grater. Take your block of cheese. Now that we have our block of cheese we are get our standard grater. We are going to want to take about a cup in half worth of shredded cheese. Using the small side of the grater so that we get a nice fine shredded cheese. Also, when working with a cheese grater you want to be sure to keep your fingers free on the back end of the cheese to make sure you don't harm yourself. It takes a little bit of work a little bit or elbow grease. You can turn it side to side in one way or the other. Turn to the next. While you are grating your cheese if you don't want to just do 1 1/2 cups if you are going to use that cheese for later feel free to go ahead and grate some more. Cause it is a little bit of effort and you can knock it out in one swoop. That should be more then enough for us. I would take this measuring cup and that is a cup and a half."
