"Hi, this is Ben Hardy with Expert Village. First we are going to start with chopping our onions. We are going to take it to the side, chop the top and the bottom off. Put those to the side. You want to take your knife and make a small incision on the side like so. Just peel off the out layer it is okay that you get just a little bit more then that. Go ahead and throw that away. To do a chop onion it is not very hard just make a few small slices to make some rings. Since we only needed about a tablespoon we are just going to take the rest of the onion to the side to use later. Go ahead and make small cuts in a plus sign. Continue on and take your knife and slowly work your way right and left on your onion. Then left to right. Then back right and left. Make sure you get every piece in small little chunks. We need about a tablespoon so that is way to much. Now as you continue on cooking and learning how to cook you would be able to eyeball some of your measurements. For now you want to go ahead and use a actual tablespoon. A actual tablespoon should come up to be about this right here. "
