"Hi, I'm Teri Lynne and this is David O'Donnel and we're here on behalf of Expert Village. And in this segment on home facials we're going to doing the exfoliating. And now again you want to get some sort of scrub. I'm using an apricot scrub. You can use a rice brand scrub that uses little rice pellets. All sorts of different scrubs you can use, anything that says exfoliant or exfoliating on it will work. Now you don't want to over do it, a little bit will go a long way. You don't have to use but the size of a quarter. And if you need more you can always grab more, but I always err on the side of lest to start. Now what this does it has actual apricot shell in here so this can be a little harsh on peoples skins. After we do this you might see that David's skin is a little red or pink, that just means that's the new skins underneath cause what this does it really sloughs off the dead skin cells. And if you have acme this is really good too, to clean deep down or blackheads. So again, I start at the top and work my way down his face and the jaw line. I'm just going to gently massage it in you don't want to be too rough because again what this actually does is actually tear off the old skin cells, so again you don't need to be too rough because the product already is a little bit harsh. You don't want to use this more than twice to two times a week, definitely not everyday, definitely. Just make sure you work it in for a good couple of minutes, and then take your cloth, your nice warm face cloth again, start at the top. And be careful around the eye area. You don't need to be touching that area too rigorously and you definitely don't need to put scrub on the eye area or under the eye area. You wanna make sure you get all of this off, it's a little harder when you have facial hair. Notice Daves is a little pink now after, just because it does stimulate the skin a little bit and it will cause some circulation and some of the fresh skin coming out. So if you notice a little pink afterward that's normal."
