Applying Lip Liner for Elegant, Chic Makeup

"I'm Kelli. On behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you some tips and techniques you could use to create a black dress chic look. So the next thing we're going to do is we're going to line her lips and I'm just going to use a neutral shade of lip liner. This will go with everything so you don't have to worry. Sometimes when you are trying to work with a red lipstick it's a little bit harder or tricky to find a color that matches. If you just go with a neutral, you don't have any worries. We're just going to line her lips. We're going to give her a little more definition going around the outer lip line. Maybe we would normally for daytime look. We really want to offset the shape of her lips especially since we're going to be using a red lipstick. We're just going to give her a little more of a defined lip line. Then I'm just going to kind of shade her lip with a little bit of the lip liner to give the lipstick a little something to hold on to. Now her lips are lined and we're ready to go and we're ready to apply or red lipstick."
