"I’m Kelly on behalf of Expert Village. I’m going to show you some tips and techniques that you can use to create a black dress chic look. So the first thing we’re going to do is apply some foundation primer to her skin. So we’re just going to take a little bit of this and we are going to pat it on her skin. And basically what this is going to do is it's going to smooth the texture of the skin. It helps to minimize the appearance of any fine lines or wrinkles, it will help to minimize the appearance of pores so that your makeup won’t settle in any crevices. It also helps your color blend better and be more evenly distributed across the skin. It also prevents absorption of the makeup, so it prevents the makeup from being absorbed into the skin so it keeps the makeup looking fresher longer. It will soak up any oily shine and it will also help your foundation stay truer to color throughout the day. If you are a person who maybe is a little bit more on the oily side and has a problem with their foundation kind of shifting or changing colors on them. So that’s why it is really important to apply a foundation primer before your foundation. "
