How to Wax Eyebrows

"Hi! I'm Amelia and on behalf of Expert Village we'll be talking about the perfect eyebrow. Waxing is mostly done in a professional salon environment. Some women do it at home. This what I have in front of me here is just a cold sugar wax. You don't have to heat it. You would just apply it and use a piece of muslin to tear it off. Then you've got the hot waxes, and then you've also got hard wax. Hard wax you just apply to the skin and you don't need any muslin. You just pull it off by itself. Then the hot wax of course, you just want to always make sure that it's not too hot because you can burn the skin. Before you wax, there's a few rules that you're going to want to follow. You never want to wax at least a week before your period. If so, you're going to get a lot more inflamed and you'll tend to bleed. You also want to make sure you never wax if you are getting ready to go into the sun or if you've just come from the tanning bed, from the beach, or if you even have a sunburn. You're also not ever going to wax if you use Retin-A, Renova, or any type of topical product on your skin that's going to help it exfoliate. Waxing is also a way to exfoliate. By doing that, you're doing a double exfoliation. What happens if you wax and it's too hot and you've used Retin-A and you take a little of skin off. Just make sure that you keep that area well covered with some Neosporin or something like that, some antibiotic ointment and just keep applying, and that spot should heal up just fine."
