"JOHN CARSTARPHEN: Hi, this is John Carstarphen for Expert Village. And you can see that the object has rounded circular edges to it and that's the effect of the circle in the sweep NURBS object. Now, when we first placed the text in the circle as children of the sweep NURBS object, you'll notice that we get a nothing--you will get an object that looks like a doughnut basically. It doesn't look anything like the letter T that we have set up. And the reason for that is two fold. First of all, remember when you're setting a hierarchy within a NURBS object or within any object in 3D, you have to make sure that the path of the hierarchy is correct. So you want one object, the primary object in a certain position and the secondary object below it. So in this case, we want the circle to be differently arranged in the hierarchy and that changes the look of the object that you can see that it's sort of looks like a T, but not quite."
