"JOHN CARSTARPHEN: Hi, this John Carstarphen for Expert Village. We can include some banking, which means that as the letter is created, it will kind of ease into the curves of the letter. And we can have constant cross section which sort of makes the edges of the letter more defined. And--now when you use a sweep NURBS, you're really using two objects. You're using what they call rails. And the first rail is--the first rail defines the type of sweep that you'll have. And we're going to use a circular sweep which means that the edges of the letter that we're sweeping will be rounded. We can use other shapes but for this example, we're going to use a rounded circular edge. The second rail is this rail, this sweep that defines the shape of the object itself."
