What is Pixelmator Graphic Editing Software?

Apple’s Pixelmator is a graphic editor designed for Mac OS X operating system. It’s features allow users to select, paint, retouch and color correct digital images using a variety of tools and filters. The program integrates with iLife applications, like iPhoto, and uses layers-based editing for digital photography.

In this series of free video tutorials you’ll learn how to use Pixelmator to edit your photos and digital images. Expert Matt Nichols shows you how to navigate through the program’s interface, including how to use the drawing tools, eraser tool, paint bucket tool, and eye dropper tool, as well as how to create gradients, and how to zoom and pan an image. You’ll also learn how to use the marquee tools, color correction tools, how to use the clone stamp, and how to use filters and masks to create perfect digital images.

For those of you who don't know what Pixelmator is, it's a piece of software that allows you to edit images. You can open up your photos and then come in and edit them in a variety of different ways, or you can just create images from scratch. Pixelmator is available exclusively for the Mac and if you want you can download a demo if you go to pixelmator.com, you can download a demo there but clicking on the download button. Another advantage of Pixelmator is that it is only fifty-nine dollars and you can buy that right through the website so if you don't have a couple of hundred dollars to drop on a program like Photoshop, you can get Pixelmator and like I said, it is fairly robust so if you've got a website and you want to edit images you can definitely use Pixelmator or if you just want to retouch some photos you can also use this software as well.
