"MAN: So the first thing I'm going to show you and probably the first thing you'll want to do when you get here to Google Maps is search for a location, and that's pretty easy. You just go right up here to search the map and then you can type in--type stuff in in a number of ways. You can see their examples like "10 Market St., San Francisco" or "hotels near LAX." So let's just see what happens when we type "hotels near LAX." Oops. And I typed wrong so I'll just--it suggests here what I need. And there you go, it brings up results. You can also just type--obviously, just type the address or the city. So if you just type the city, it'll bring you right here. And the next search option is to find businesses, and this is really useful if you're just new, maybe you don't know exactly what you're looking for. You're just looking for, I don't know, like something like Mexican food. And then you hit the "What" right here, Mexican food, and the "Where" right here, and then you search businesses. And your business results all come in right here, and then you can just click on them. I'll show you more about this later. And to get directions is the third option right here. So you want to click right there and then you can enter your start address and your end address. You could get directions that way, and your directions will pop up here back in the search results. And on your map, you've got your little blue line and you can--that's it. That's how you get your directions. So I'm going into more detail about the directions and the businesses in later clips. I just want to give you the most basic, what Google Maps is here for and that's searching the maps. So that's how you use search the map, find businesses and get directions in Google Maps."
