"So now I am going to talk about some of your different "settings options" in Google Calendar. To get to settings you just go over to the right side here and you will see "Settings". In this clip I am going to talk about the "General" tab, so first you can choose your language and they have got a big list of different languages here. Also, if you ever accidentally get on the wrong language remember kind of how you got here so you can go back and find the right one. You can choose your country and usually this stuff is set up from the beginning when you sign up for Gmail. When you get right here you have got some options that you can customize Google Calendar with like date format, you have got three different date formats here, you can use which ever one you prefer. You have got your time format, which is basically a twelve hour format and then a twenty-four hour format, twelve hour being a.m. or p.m. What happens is Google will show a.m. with no markings and then a little "p" for p.m. I will show you that real fast, see nine a.m. and then twelve p is for p.m. You can set that for how ever you would like, you can also decide which day of the week you want each week to start on, Sunday, Monday or Saturday. If you want it to look like every other calendar you see you might want to leave it on Sunday. You can choose to not even show weekends if you want and here is a pretty useful option that you might realize, but this whole view is set on week. Which means every time I open Google calendar it is going to show me the week view. I actually like the "Monthly View" better, so I would want to set my default view to "Month". That means every time I open my calendar, it will automatically go to the view I like best, which is the "Month View". Then you have got your options for "Custom View" and that is, remember that next four days, you can actually change that to a custom, to any one of these options, "Next two days, three days, four days, five days, six days, seven days, which would be a "weekly view". You could also do "Next two weeks, next three weeks", you might try "Next two weeks " and see how you like that. You have the option to show current time, you can enter your location here, which is useful if you are going to do the next option which is "Show weather based on my location" and you can choose Celsius or Fahrenheit. Let me just show you how that works real fast, I am going to save so it happens and you can see here on the date, you get a little letter icon and this little picture of, looks like "partly sunny". Then you have got your high and low if you mouse over it, actually if you click on it you get a nice little view like that. So I like turning that on because it shows another useful things that they have added that is pretty cool. The next thing on here is "Show events you have declined", if you are getting a lot of invitations to events from other Google Calendar users, you can decide whether you want events you decline to disappear off your calendar or to stay. Click "yes" if you want them to stay on your calendar. The next option is "Automatically add invitations to my calendar", like I was just saying if you get a lot of invitations to events from other calendar users, if you have "yes" checked they are going to automatically be added. If you want to only add events that you say yes to, or to which you have responded, you would want to check this to "no". So that would be a problem like I said if you are getting a lot of invitations that you are declining and you do not want on your calendar, you want to make sure you check this to "no". Then the last option is to change your Google account settings and this is just a link to do that. Remember when you change any settings you want to always make sure you save. So that is the "General" settings in Google Calendar and like I said probably some of the coolest stuff you can do here is change your default view to what you like and then turning weather on based on your location is really useful. So always remember "save" and that is the "General" tab in the Google Calendar settings."
