"Hi in this series I'm going to be talking about Google Calendar, which is a free web based calendar program from Google. I really like this program a lot. I use it to organize my personal life and my business life, so it's just a real simple easy to use calendar that is free and because it's web-based it makes it real easy to look at it from any computer which I think is one of the coolest features about a web based calendar program. And I mean, that might be the coolest feature but that doesn't mean that Google Calendar doesn't have a ton of other features and some really cool things you can do with it. So if you already have a gmail account then you already have access to Google Calendar and you can see that up in the, this upper left hand corner you can click on calendar and it'll take you to your Google Calendar. But if you don't already have a gmail account let me show you how to sign up real fast. So I would just to go Google and search gmail, and here it is. And then you'll come to this page right here, little welcome page, welcome to gmail. And what you're going to want to do is sign up for, sign up for gmail. And then you have to enter all your information right here, desired log in name. And you can check the availability on that by clicking right here. Then you have to choose a password, enter in a security question, a secondary email if you want, your location. Then you'll have to copy this word into this box right here just to verify you're a real person. And then you want to read through the Google's terms of service and if you agree you click I accept create my account. And that'll take you to your gmail account and from there you can start using Google Calendar and I'll show you how to use that in the following clips. "
