"On behalf of expertvilage.com, my name is Seth with Friendly Computer and I'm here to tell you about breaking down laptops. First thing you want to do is take out the battery, and then you'll want to pull off any cards that you have. That's pretty much it for the bottom. The next section would be to actually getting ready to take off the screen. We have the keyboard here, then we're ready to pull off the screen. The next thing that comes up is the upper section. Then we'll want to pull out the optical drive. Then the next one we'll want to take out is the hard drive. Then we'll want to pull out this housing here, which houses the optical drive and the hard drive housing. Then we'll want to take off the CPU cooler. Then we'll pull that out. Then we'll want to pull out the processor. Make sure you don't bend the pins, then you want to pull that off. We have it down to the bare motherboard, in which this is definetly you do not want to try at home. "
