"Now, to get ideas for fills it's best to go back and listen to the people who created this music do it. So, go back check out. Just type into Google for some Brazilian artists and it will pop up a whole list of them. You can read all sorts of biographies about them and you can check out the discographies. Go to the record store, buy one of their CD's. Check out what the drummers are playing. And, try and copy their drum fills. But, technically or basically their fills are just stylistically around the clave. Everything is based around the. So, I don't have any examples for you to play. But, I just want you to go check out for yourself what the music is like and how it goes. And, it's just all very syncopated like the other like in funk. Like in the funk fills. The Latin fills are also syncopated. So, go check out the music and come up with your own."
