"Now you know that the clave rhythm is...But in Brazil they have the clave but they don't call it the three, two clave whatever, they just call it the clave. The have the clave and they play it all sorts of different ways. So if you are verse in measure one and measure two, if you play two-three, you have the two-three clave. One, one. If you want you can look at the music, we are playing this measure first and then doing this measure. So we are just reading it backwards."
