"RYAN LARSON: So now we've learnt our 1, our 2 and our 5. And our last important chord in the scale is our vi minor which is this open string right here: 1-2-3-4-5-6. And we use it a lot as--so if we go through the scale, there's your 1, minor 3rd, 5. And it uses a lot going back from the 6th to the 2. So we have our 2 here and our 6 is right here. I'm doing that same pattern, the 1 to minor 3rd to 5, and then I'll start right here on the 6. So it's a cool way to have two minor chords inside to your scale degree, and it's used a lot in jazz as a walking tone. So here's 1-2-6, 1-6-2-5, which we're going to go over in our next concept. But it's really important to remember that you have that as another chord to choose from is your vi minor. And it's right here, three notes below your root. Here's 1 down to 6, so good compositional chord. So that's utilizing your 6th degree of the F major scale as a minor chord which is D minor."
