"Okay so now we are going to take a look at F Mixolydian which is also known as our 7th chord or our dominant chord. You also might here dominant 7 but what is implied by that is that it has a lower 7 which we are going to go over. But F Mixolydian is the 5th degree of the scale so it comes out of B flat major and you notice that we have this flat 7 in there and it gives us this nice sound. Great chancy is your blue scale so we are going to take a look as it is written now. So we are in the key of B flat major, so we have a B flat and E flat and we will start right on the F so we have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and then our flat F. So a basic F major scale but we flatted the 7 here and you get that nice bluesy sound. And you see this chord everywhere. There are probably very few songs written that don't have a 7th chord in it which is derived out of the Mixolydian. So that is our F, 7th chord dominant 7 out of the key of B flat major, root F. "
