"I'm Shaun Schaefer on behalf of Expert Village and today I'm going to show you how to pack up your drum kit efficiently. Now that we're ready to get started in packing up our drums the first thing I do, or will do, I'm going to go ahead and move this symbol stand out of my way. And each gig is kind of different like as far as like, how much room you have. I don't know, maybe over here where I have all my stands at now maybe there's a couple a amps that's one gig that's not there at another. But, in this instance I'm putting all my stands or all my hardware over on that side so I can deal with the drums on this side. We're going to worry about the snare drum, right here. And what I like to do with the snare drum is, this is my snare drum case, I told you about the towel, here is my other snare drum. This is my back up snare and I actually have a spare drum head in the bottom of this case just in case I break two snare drum heads in one show, which has never happened. So I take this blanket or this towel, and then I take the snare drum and the snare side, I put that up. Then just go head and push it down, like that. And so you can barely, and then put the towel on top of it of course, and you can barely tell that this snare drum is sitting on top of another snare drum because this towel is so think, OK. So now I have both my snare drums in one case, as opposed to having two snare drums in two cases. This saves a ton of room and some time, so what we're going to to do is we're going to go ahead and put, clamp the snap and it's, if you can tell I'm having trouble, it's really tight. And that's supposed to be. You don't want this lid moving you know. If you're flying somewhere or in the van or the truck, you don't want this lid moving to where these drums are moving all over the place and hurting each other. So, we got the snare drum packed up, let's go ahead and take a look at our next step."
