"So now I'm going to do a introduction into the A modes of A major and they add Ionian as the first mode which is a major mode itself. But as we go through we have aeolian, Ionian and we have Dorian, phrygian, Lydian, mixolydian, locrian. So we are going to go through and do all these modes as they pertain to the root of A so when we do A phrygian it would be in the 3rd mode of F major and we have this nice dark A sound. So sit through all your modes as they pertain to the root of A."
