"I'm Shaun Schaefer on behalf of Expert Village and today I'm going to show you how to pack up your drum kit efficiently. Now the first thing I do after a gig is over, or when it's time to start packing up the gear. If you notice, you know these are the sticks I just played the show with. I have some spare sticks down here in my high hat stand, and I have a bunch of different types of mallets and sticks laying on my kick drum along with a drum key over here. So the first thing I like to do when it's time to pack up, I like to get all those sticks and the little parts, the drum keys and stuff. I like to pack those away. And usually I have my drum bag sitting right next to me during the show. So what I do, I just shove the sticks in no particular order right into my stick bag and pack it up. And then this is done. And the stick bag is not going to get packed up right now, but it does go, it goes in the case with my trap box. Which is where all my cymbal stands go. So I just zip this and now all I have to worry about is cymbals, drums and stands. First thing I do is just clean the little stuff up right away. And that's something I can do just from my stool. I just got finished playing thirty seconds ago. Pack up the stick bag and let's move on to the drums, cymbals and stands. Let's take a look at our next step."
