"So we are going to start with our basic 5 note scale which is also known as the Pentatonic scale and what it really does it takes the most essential notes out of the scale and isolates them. So we have our F major scale and the first pentatonic we learned we will call pent A and it starts on F and it is 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 and we hear that nice quality. Then we have our second pentatonic scale which I like to call the coronal pentatonic scale which starts on the 5 and you have 5, 6, 7, 2 and 3 which gives us all the notes in between the sale and it leaves out the root and the void note which is your 4. If you look at it chorally, sounds really nice and then we need your first pentatonic scale. It sounds really more triadic and then your second pentatonic sounds more metal or open and if you are playing with other musicians, it give them a lot of space to build around. So now I am going to look at how the pentatonic scale is read. "
