"Now we are going to go over our A bebop scale. So first we are going to play a A7 scale so we have just take the 5 and 7. Now with our bebop cast in is they have all these 13 or these 16th and 30 second note runs but you have a 7 note scale. So to make everything a even number they just added in notes outside of the scale so you see how I added this E flat in there. That time I added the major 7. So we use them in what we call passing tones so the main philosophy behind bebop is go in and out of the major scale. "
