"So now we are going to go over our A major pentatonic scale which is a 5 note scale. Pentatonic and we start right here on A and it is more of a philosophy instead of playing all the notes we are just going to play 5s. We have 1,2,3,5, and 6 and you can really hear the melody. A lot of folk tunes have been written with these pentatonic. You can even get the intro to kung fu fighting and that is our melodic pentatonic scale. Then if you start on the 5th and you have 5,7,5,6,7, and 2, and 3 and that is your quarto. A quarto pentatonic scale which gives you all the notes in between the scale excluding the root which I'm playing roll that my box trainer would play and it gets rid of the 4th which is the void note. So you can just go through and move around and make some nice chords. It also works very well melodically and that is your 2 major pentatonic scale out of the key of A. "
