"I'm Rick Tobey on behalf of Expert Village and this is Blues Progressions Part 2. So now on this song, "Tell Me Mama," we're going to spend a little bit more time with the embellishment of the A and the D chord. So for this, on the A chord, we're going to play it a little bit faster and a little bit snappier so that it sounds like this. Now you'll notice I'm doing a lot of hitting the strings muffled. It gives a very nice kind of rhythmic kind of sound. Now we'll go down to the D chord, anchoring with our third finger on the fifth fret of the A string. And we can let the rest of the fingers fall in line in the chord. And then we can take the third finger and kind of hit the bass line by going. Notice we're kind of using the muffling of the strings to give it very nice rhythmic kind of sound. So that would be the embellishment of the D chord. And the A chord is more of a riff kind of a thing. And you just go to the E and you see you can slide down to the D, back to the A. In the next section, we'll play the entire song, "Tell Me Mama.""
