"I'm Rick Tobey on behalf of Expert Village and this is Blues Progressions Part 2. So now this is going to be a twelve bar blues progression in the key of A, using the bar chords with a shuffle beat. And the shuffle beat, you remember is kind of bouncy. Now you'll notice how with the bar chords, you can hit the chord, then if you'll kind of lift your fingers up, not all the way, just off the fret board, but keeping them on the strings, you can stop the sound of the chord very quickly. And this comes in very handy, especially when you're playing a shuffle beat. That sound as opposed to. You see how we get more of a bounce that way.
