"Hi, I'm Rick Tobey on behalf of Expert Village and this is Blues Progressions Part 3. In this lesson, we're going to introduce the A blues lead guitar scale. And we're going to focus on this one position. This is the most useful scale for the blues. It's very easy to play with this particular position on the neck. And the notes are basically these and then you can put them together to play some blues riffs. And when you play a lead guitar, it's almost like you're saying a sentence. You want it to kind of make sense, where you have a beginning and an end. So you're kind of making a point. You're not just kind of leaving it hanging. Like, you know, if you were going to talk to somebody you'd hopefully say a sentence and make some kind of sense. So, if you think of it that each note is a word and then you would put the words together to make a phrase or a sentence. So in the next few lessons, we're going to learn how to play that scale."
