Summary: Learn how to cut, copy and paste audio in Apple Logic Pro music recording software in the free video tutorial about music production.
"Now what I'm going to show you how to do is cut, copy, and paste using the shortcuts. Now I'm going to go to my project right now and I have a little piece right here. Make sure that it's at the bar. So, this is exactly one bar. What I'm going to do is I'm going to copy it by pressing apple C. Once I've copied it I can see that maybe I want it on my fourth bar, so I'm going to put the locator on my fourth bar, make sure it's on the track I want it to be on. Press apple V. So, it's going to paste it right there. Now I'm going to take these four tracks and highlight them, right? Press apple C. Then apple V at the locator. Make sure it's on five and put that down like that. I could also highlight these and press apple R and repeat it as many times as I'd like, maybe four. Do the same exact thing with these. Apple R. I could also cut things at the same exact time by highlighting all those together using my secondary tool, making sure that it's on the slice. I could cut all four tracks at the same time and copy and paste them wherever I want by pressing apple V, making sure the locator is at the right spot."
