"Now we are going to show you some compositional ideas in the key of D flat. The first one is we are going to go from the relative major to the relative minors. Start on D flat major, then we want to get to this B flat minor so what we are going to do is we put a D flat major and then you go down a half step and do the 2,5 into the B flat minor. So 1,2,5 into the relative minor, then you can do the 2,5 and this is a relative major 2,5, relative major. What I'm doing with my right hand I'm just playing a low note and then 2 high notes above it and down in between them. So those are some basic ideas for approaching and moving back and forth between the major and hate minor and some of those right hand voicings for you to use for your notes."
