"Alright now we are going to learn our second chord in E flat which is the 5 chord and also known as the 7th chord. So we start in E flat 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, B flat so that is the top of group of 3, B flat. So that's your 7th chord. Now if we play the E flat major scale, when that is through, we have this. You can hear how that wants to go back to the E flat. Now when you are voicing chords for the 7th chord, you want to remember that the 4th note is a void note which is actually the root. So you don't want to play the E flat when you are making chords. So go through and play those notes in the scale but remember to leave out the E flat. When you add the 2 chord and go into the 5 chord, you hear how it wants to go back to the 1. Too, make the 2 the root and the 5 the root and it wants to go back to the 1. So those are your basic chords in the key of E flat where we go through a little more and start taking them apart. "
