"Alright the first chord we are going to learn in E flat is the minor chord which comes out of the second degree of the scale. So if you start on the scale 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 your second note is F so that is an F minor chord. So you play the exact same scale starting on F. Now to start getting chord voicings on that chord, just play the root F and just start hitting groups or patterns inside the scale and every note in the minor sounds good so you can just keep moving. I'm just hitting notes in the scale. You can go in and study it too. You can try to come up with some voicings like if you make the F the 1. So you've got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 1. If you go through and look at some chord voicings, here we've got 1, the root here and you've got 3, 5, 7, 2. You can lower the 7 and get a 6 chord, 3, 5, 6, 2 or you can put the 2 on the bottom and then the 6 and then put the 5 on the top. You can go through and learn your F minor chords that come out of the major scale E flat."
