"Hi I'm Dan on behalf of Expert Village. Today we are going to talk about warming up. Now what I like to do to warm up on sticks is to play single stroke 8th notes on the snare drum. It sounds like this. What you want to do is start off really slow and being in control and then speed up to the speed that you can handle. You don't ever want to go so fast that you are not in control of. You want each note to be study and your right and left hand to be the same. Watch the next segment on how to swing on the right cymbal. "
