"Hi, I'm Jabari Pride and you are back to expertvillage.com. The stretch that we just did was a stretch for your quad and now we are going to do a stretch for your calf. Now once again if you are stretching on the right side of your body, we are stretching the right calf you want to get down. Start with the calf that you are going to be stretching at the furthest point behind you and you want to get it so that your heel actually stays on the ground. You may see a lot of people doing this and they got the heel up off the ground that is incorrect. The correct way to do is try to keep your heel on the ground. If that means that you need to come closer, then you have to come closer. If you can stay further away and do it that is great too. So as you keep your heel on the ground you take your opposite leg and you can really rest it on the calf leg that you are stretching. So keep your hands down, keep your hands down flat, you have that bend, try to bend at your hips, keep that heel on the ground. You really feel that stretch in your calf. If you work yourself closer to the calf, you can also stretch out the hamstring at the same time. So by moving up, you get the calf and the hamstring and as you move away, you kind of really isolates and moves the stretch down to the lower part of the calf. So this is what the stretch would look like. That is the calf stretch. "
